A Vision From The Lord for Minot, ND

Very early on the morning of October 9th 2009 I was woken from sleep, most likely for the nightly bathroom break, and when I lay back down to sleep the Lord prompted me to get up and begin writing. I grabbed a notepad and pen, elevated my bed to the reading position and began writing. Words were flowing into my mind as fast as I could write. As I began finishing the last couple letters of the word I was penning the next word was fed to me. For the first time in my life I felt as if I finally knew what the Bible meant in 2 Peter 1:20-21 that says “Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.  [ 2Pe 1:20 (NKJV) knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.] I have experienced this much when preaching sermons but I did not fully understand how this related to the written Word.

During this new experience that morning, I received words from the Lord for several of Spiritual Life Christian Fellowship (SLCF) Elders and their wives. In addition I also received a prophecy for our Church and a vision from the Lord for the Churches of this age. I truly believe that God is rising up the end day Church. However, I do not believe that the end is coming within the next two to five years; in fact I believe it will be closer to 20 years plus or minus 5 years. But I am convinced that God is preparing His Church for the upcoming end time harvest.

Today I would like to share the vision that God gave me that morning for our Church and other Churches who are truly following Gods’ direction for them during this period of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

I saw SLCFs’ church building beginning to glow with the Glory of the Lord, it was so bright that it began to move the darkness in a dome shape around the building and in the wake the dome glowed bright with the glory of the Lord. The darkness represented principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and the spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places referred to in Ephesians 6:11-12 [Eph 6:11 (NKJV) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.] As our church continued to work in Gods’ kingdom and do so in obedience to His ways, the dome grew larger and larger, ever expanding, in diameter and arch. This dome was flat upon the surface of the earth and arched into the sky.

I then saw a similar dome arching down from heaven directly above the dome surrounding our church. Both of these domes continued to expand. Each pushing away the darkness that resided above our church until finally the outermost edge of each dome intersected. At the moment of intersection this generated a tunnel of light beaming down from heaven upon the rooftop of our church. This beaming tunnel of light of course represented the glory of God that finally broke through all of the darkness and shone brightly upon us.

Next, I saw both of the domes were continuing to expand and the tunnel of intersection continued to enlarge as each dome, the one from the earth expanding upward and the one from heaven expanding downward, until all the host of wickedness that resides over the city of Minot was totally eradicated from the heavens above the city. At this point not even one cloud of darkness remained over the city and the entire city was basking in the brilliance of the glory of God. It was so powerful because Gods’ glory not only began to war against the host of wickedness that control all evil in our city from heaven but it also began on the earth. I am reminded of the words of an old hymn; “heaven came down and glory filled my soul”. It was such a beautiful and awesome sight to see God inhabit our church to the point that His glory shined as bright on the earth towards heaven as it always has from heaven down to earth.

My eyes were then turned towards the heavens into the starry skies of our galaxy and then out into the outer borders of our universe. When I saw Minot, now a tiny speck on the surface of planet earth, I say a brilliant ray of the light of Gods’ awesome glory beaming out as far as the eye could see. I then felt as if the Lord spoke and told me that this beam glowed outward throughout the entire stratosphere of His creation. I then saw the earth rotating on its axis, and this beam from Minot began circling and the beam began to strobe outward towards the furthest reaches of the stratosphere. As it rotated it was like search light that was spinning and searching the skies for aircraft from an airport. Thus the Glory of the Lord was searching throughout the never ending reaches of His creation.

I then felt the impression upon me that SLCF would be one of other churches in Minot that this would occur with. In addition, many churches all over the earth will also experience this. The key is if we walk in the light of righteousness. We must return to standards of holiness and sanctification. And we must do so in love.

Update:

Early morning Oct. 31st 2009 one of our congregants, Maren, was at our church in prayer and worship during our 30 hours of Prayer & Praise for “All Saints Day” to invite God to earth on during a time when those who serve evil invite the darkness to earth in their celebration of Halloween. (Note. those who serve evil, unfortunately include many who call themself Christian). While she was in praise she received a vision, she turned her head towards the northeast corner of our sanctuary and she saw the hind-quarters of Father God. She realized that God granted her the same privilege that he gave Moses in Exodus 33:17-23. [ Ex 33:17 (NKJV) So the Lord said to Moses, "I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name." 18 And he said, "Please, show me Your glory." 19 Then He said, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion." 20 But He said, "You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live." 21 And the Lord said, "Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. 22 So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. 23 Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”] Thus the Lord confirmed to us that he was truly on earth in our church displaying His glory. What a wonderful awesome wonder this is. We should look forward in great expectation.

Reference scriptures:

John 11:40 (NKJV) Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"

Psalms 19:1-6 (NKJV) To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race. 6 Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

Acts 7:55-56 (NKJV) But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, 56 and said, "Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!"

1 Corinthians 10:31-33 (NKJV) Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (NKJV) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 4:1-18 (NKJV) Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. 2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-- 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death is working in us, but life in you. 13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Philippians 2:1-15 (NKJV) Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

Revelation 21:10-11 (NKJV) And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

Revelation 21:23 (NKJV) The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

Isaiah 9:1-4 (NKJV) Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed, As when at first He lightly esteemed The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, And afterward more heavily oppressed her, By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, In Galilee of the Gentiles. 2 The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined. 3 You have multiplied the nation And increased its joy; They rejoice before You According to the joy of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil. 4 For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, As in the day of Midian.

Matthew 4:13-17 (NKJV) And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 15 "The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: 16 The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned." 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

John 1:1-5 (NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John 8:12 (NKJV) Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

Ephesians 5:8-18 (NKJV) For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light." 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

Colossians 1:9-13 (NKJV) For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

1 Peter 2:9-12 (NKJV) But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 11 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, 12 having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

1 John 1:5-7 (NKJV) This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Why does healings take so much effort? An Answer!

Today a friend & I were discussing some of the teachings that were presented in a recent “Be in Health” seminar that I attended in Bismarck, ND recently. “Be in Health” (http://www.beinhealth.com/) is a ministry founded by Pastor Henry Wright and the conference I attended was presented by Bill Conklin on Pastor Wright’s materials. My friend made an inquiry and asked me “Why would it be necessary for us to have to get rid of all sin in order for God to heal us, the unsaved person gets healed without doing so, so why would God require that of believers?” In my opinion this question was based upon some faulty assessment of when & why God provides healing. As far as I can recall, the only evidence scripture gives us of unbelievers being healed was for the purpose of building their faith to believe and thereby be saved as a result of their faith being released. So comparing healings of unbelievers to healings of believers is not a valid argument to consider. However, after clarifying this fact, I was inspired to answer my friends’ greater question, that being: Why would God want us to deal with unrecognized spiritual roots of unrighteousness in our lives and not simply heal our disease without it being dealt with.  Following is what I shared with him.

It is not necessary for us to deal win all the spiritual roots of unrighteousness (sin) in our lives. God does not require that we do so. (All he requires is that we accept His Son Jesus as our savior) Instead it is a blessing for us to deal with those spiritual roots.

God is such a loving father that he wants us freed from all the bondage of the enemy. Bondage that is often upon us from generations past or from how others mistreated us that we had no control in and did not ever recognize that we were in bondage of.

Chronic disease is a sign to us of a need for spiritual deliverance. If we did not have it, we would continue in the bondage of all the things that this baggage interferes with in our life.

Take a root of rejection. It follows us wherever we go. It takes control of our conversations with those we love:

·         A conversation with our wife, husband or children turns into an argument.

·         We struggle with co-workers or with our boss at work.

·         It robs us of productivity, of joy, and of finances.

·         It drives us into depression and fills us with anxiety.

·         It puts our life onto a roller coaster of disappointment.

o   Disappointment breeds dissatisfaction

o   Dissatisfaction breeds disunity

o   Disunity breeds strife

o   Strife breeds hatred

o   Hatred breeds separation

o   Separation breeds rejection

And then the vicious cycle starts over and over again.

As long as the invisible spiritual root remains, we are faced with self-doubt and self-rejection because we cannot understand why all of our relationships turn out the same in the end. We do not know why we cannot accept that we are loveable. We are lost. Where is God we wonder, in the midst of our struggles?

This leads us to divorce in all our relationships, not just romantic relationships, but with all who are important to us. A total separation from the one who rejected us!

We then get into new relationships but the cycle begins anew. Before we know it the ones we value the most wind us rejecting us just like all others have in the past. The grip of the enemy grows stronger, depression sets in deeper and our trust in our own thoughts and actions become more suspect to us. But still we do not realize that neither he or she or we are not rejecting one another. It is all still because of this spiritual root of rejection that remains unseen and unchecked. A silent killer lurking to devour us. We do not even know that we need to restrain this enemy.

If we could truly forgive others and forgive ourselves, we could then get the root delivered from us once and for all and this vicious cycle would then end. The enemy would be exposed and his territory would truly become within our own control. We would then truly be in control of our own lives. Our destiny would be at our choosing. However, deliverance must come after forgiveness. See if we run the enemy off before we win the war then the enemy will seek reinforcements and attack again. At a time we least suspect, after we have become complacent and have dropped our armor. This is the power of forgiveness. This is the true meaning of unconditional love. This is what each of us should seek after. This alone should be the desire of our heart.

So take a hard look at cancer, diabetes or whatever it is you have that can only be “managed” by the medicine of mankind. Search it out, find the spiritual root that is behind the disease. Cover that root with the blood of forgiveness through Christ, and Christ alone. Cast off the spiritual root through the power of deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Once these steps have been completed in their specified order, then seek out, if necessary, gifted elders in Christ who can anoint you with oil and pray the prayer of faith and be healed in Jesus name.

We must understand that few healings are given as miracles (an instant reversal of the effects of chronic disease on our bodies). Much healings will take time for your body to fully regenerate itself into its created order of functioning. We know that all healings are by Gods’ own hand, yet, in some instances an organ will have been destroyed from the chronic disease and this will require a creative miracle by Gods’ own hand.

For most the healing will come over time. How much time you may ask? This is in Gods’ control not ours, and there is often a direct correlation to how long we have suffered with a given chronic ailment to the length of time full recovery takes to complete. We must accept that for most all of us we must seek medical supervision to taper off maintenance medications so that our system will have time to adjust slowly to the loss of supplemental chemicals and regenerate our bodies own natural system response to begin producing balanced levels of the natural chemistry the Creator designed in us. Our system will require time to naturally replenish and balance out.

In any case, if we can truly find the spiritual root that brought our disease upon us. We are effective and proactive in covering the unrighteousness that brought that root into our life under the blood of the Lamb – under forgiveness. We use the authority we have in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to cast the spiritual root from us and are truly delivered. Finally, we then receive prayer or offer prayer for healing, we then, and only then, can fully expect a 100% recovery from the disease that binds us.
